Standard Light utility Truck

Standard Tilly series DC, built using the 12hp Standard car with independent front suspension and car radiator grille, 8 feet 4 inch wheelbase.  Standard Tilly series UV from 1943 used the 14hp car with beam front axle and flat radiator grille, used the 12hp engine, wheelbase 9 feet.

4-cyl. 44-bhp engine (own 1609-cc sv) driving rear wheels via 4-speed gearbox. Mechanical brakes. Leaf-spring suspension. Tyre size 6.00-16. Wheelbase 108 in. Overall dimensions 166x64x80 in. Weight 2600 lb.

Militarized Standard Flying Twelve car with chassis with rigid front axle. Early production types which were supplied to the RAF had independent front suspension (with transveral leaf spring) and civilian-type radiator grill.
